Terms of service

These terms govern your use of tbayin.com and the services Tbayin provides ("Tbayin", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Tbayin for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm that you are authorized to do so.

1. The service

Tbayin helps organizations of any type, in any country, find, confirm and present the impact of their work. It reads public and uploaded information, suggests activities, lets you confirm them, and produces impact pages and reports that show the evidence behind each number. The work is done by our system and our team together.

2. Accounts

• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorized use.
• You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.

3. Representing an organization

• Only claim and verify an organization you are authorized to represent.
• Verification proves control of a domain or account. It does not mean Tbayin endorses the organization.
• We may ask for more proof, pause or remove an organization, or reverse a verification if we have reason to think a claim is not genuine.

4. Your content

• You keep ownership of the content you provide, such as files, exports, documents and descriptions of your activities.
• You give Tbayin a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process and display that content only to provide and improve the service for you, including publishing the impact page and reports you choose to publish.
• You confirm that you have the right to share the content and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights, including the privacy of the people in it.

5. Accuracy and evidence

Tbayin labels each activity by how strong its evidence is: confirmed, supported, claimed or estimated. Suggestions found by our system can be wrong, which is why you review them. You are responsible for what you confirm and publish. We do not guarantee that any report will be accepted by an award, funder, regulator or other third party.

6. Partners

When you ask a partner to confirm shared work, send requests only to real partners and only about real activities. A partner can confirm or decline. We may remove confirmations that appear to be misused.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• claim an organization you do not represent, or impersonate anyone;
• publish false, misleading or unlawful content;
• upload malware, or try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
• scrape, copy or resell the service or its data without our written permission;
• use the service to collect other people's personal data or to send unwanted messages.

8. Free and paid services

The free snapshot and verification are free. Paid packages and report types will be described, with their prices, before you buy, and any extra terms for them will be shown at that time. Taxes may apply depending on your country.

9. Third-party services

Some features use other services, such as your DNS provider, Microsoft, Google or social media exports. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Tbayin and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing admin@tbayin.com. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if required by law, or to protect users and the service. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.

11. Disclaimers

We work to keep Tbayin accurate, secure and available, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises, including that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tbayin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you have not paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Tbayin after that, the new terms apply.

14. Governing law and contact

The governing law and the courts for disputes will be stated here once our company registration is complete. Until then, we will try to resolve any concern with you directly and in good faith. Contact: admin@tbayin.com.
